To enable you to choose the right excursion that will suit your temper and state of health, we have categorized all excursions according to five different degrees of difficulty:
Degree of difficulty: 1
No physical strain. Light and short walks without significant elevation. Can be helicopter rides, boat trips or bus sightseeing excursions with walks to and from the vehicle.
Degree of difficulty: 2
Minimal physical strain. Hiking in varied terrain may occur.
Degree of difficulty: 3
Light physical strain. Excursions that include hiking or dog sled rides in varied mountain terrain. The dog sled rides are not recommended for individuals with a back condition.
Degree of difficulty: 4
Moderate physical strain. Hiking or dog sled rides in varied and steep mountain terrain. Requires decent physical shape. Not recommended for anyone with a fear of heights.
Degree of difficulty: 5
Significant physical strain. Physically demanding excursions that requires good shape and stamina. Extreme cold and rough terrain may occur.
