Ice Cap point 660 with barbecue

We drive in 4WD-vehicles that take us through an incredibly beautiful landscape, through an area of mountains, plains and semi-desert valleys. Near the Ice Cap we have the scenic Russell Glacier and a fantastic Moraine landscape appears. At the end of the road, we walk to and up on the Greenland Ice Cap itself – an amazing experience.

We spend some time on this vast ice world before returning to our vehicle. There are good chances of spotting musk oxen, reindeer and, depending on the season of the year, many species flowers and birds.

Invigorated after the experience of walking on the Ice Cap, we enjoy grilled Greenlandic specialties including a beverage while we admire the view of the ice.
