Whereever you want to travel in Greenland, your trip will almost always lead you to Kangerlussuaq/Sondre Stromfjord for a shorter or longer period of time. Here you can take part in excursions which are offered nowhere else in Greenland.
The fact that Kangerlussuaq was an American Air Base for 51 years has influenced the place but Kangerlussuaq is also the place in Greenland where you are closest to the magnificent ice cap and to the musk oxen.
